Christmas Art

We are making stained glass crib picture that we can hang up at home. It is really colourful. We are also making a wise man picture with marbelling inks behind him. We put the inks in a big tray and dipped our sheets into it. The patterns are amazing. We are painting a wise man on black in the front and we will frame it with coloured card.
We started making reindeer picture frames from old jigsaws. We will post a picture of them when we are finished.
Happy Christmas everyone.
Christmas Student of the month.

Today we performed Jingle Bells and Santa Claus is coming to town as Gaeilge at the Student of the Month. We all wore Santa hats and had great fun singing the songs. The whole school gave us a big cheer!!

History Tour!!

We went on a history trail to the old school in Inagh.

We saw the fire places and Mrs. Quinn told us all about what school life was like in the past. She showed us where the children used to play and where the teachers used to park. It was very interesting to see where our mums and dads went to school.

Our Walk to School

We played a giant game of cars and bikes, which is like snakes and ladders, outside. We did this for our walk to school for our school's Green Flag.

Our School Tours

Senior Infants went to Moher Hill Farm and then to Lahinch on their school tour. Our guide helped us find lots of things in the rocks.

First Class went to Seed Savers in Scariff. We made pizza in an outdoor mud oven. We set seeds and we did a mini-beast hunt.

Mini-beasts

Senior Infants and First Class did a mini-beast hunt in Geography. We went out to the playground and looked under stones to see what we could find. We made a huge display of what we found. We made a bird, earwigs, worms and centipedes.
